Practice Profile

• I was admitted to the Bar in December 1984 and have practised continuously since in civil litigation. My practice is principally in the District Court situated in the lower half of the South Island.

• I handle the whole range of civil litigation from copyright and intellectual property disputes through to trust and family protection claims. I also have experience of and practise in resource management and employment matters.

• I also have extensive experience in banco High Court matters, principally bankruptcies and company litigation as well as running civil cases in the High Court where the amounts involved are in excess of District Court jurisdiction.

• As well as practising as an advocate for clients in the arena referred to above I also do opinion work where required by clients.
